Michigan State football is still in a good position to go bowling, according to Brett McMurphy of the Action Network.
McMurphy released a new batch of bowl projections on Monday, and the Spartans are still sitting in a good spot despite the loss at Boston College this past weekend. McMurphy still has Michigan State landing in the Birmingham Bowl but now facing Virginia of the ACC. The past two weeks he’s had Michigan State in the Birmingham Bowl as well, but has swapped out ACC foes in the projected bowl game matchup.
Michigan State is 3-1 on the year following this past weekend’s loss at Boston College. Michigan State is now entering the meat of its schedule with back-to-back games against top 10 teams in Ohio State this week and a road trip to Oregon next week.
