Michigan State football is slated to head to the Lone Star State in the latest bowl projections from the Action Network.
Brett McMurphy released his updated bowl projections on Monday, and the Spartans were included once again. McMurphy has the Spartans heading to the First Responder Bowl in Dallas on January 3. He is projecting the Spartans to face Arizona of the Big 12 in the game.
Michigan State is in the midst of a three-game losing streak after a quick 3-0 start. At 3-3 overall, Michigan State will need to win at least three more games to qualify for a bowl game this year.
Michigan State returns from a bye week in a homecoming matchup against Iowa on Saturday. That matchup between the Spartans and Hawkeyes is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBC.
