Michigan State football is heading to the Big Apple in the latest bowl projections from CBS Sports.
Jerry Palm of CBS Sports released an updated batch of bowl projections on Sunday, and Michigan State remains safely in his postseason projections. Once again this week, Palm has the Spartans landing in the Pinstripe Bowl facing off against Pitt.
Michigan State dropped a second straight game this week to fall to 3-2 overall on the year. The Spartans are in the midst of a brutal stretch that could includes five of six games against currently ranked teams. So getting to the magic number of six wins to reach a bowl game may be tough in the end.
Next up for the Spartans is a road trip to Oregon this week. Kickoff from Oregon is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET on Friday. The game will be televised on FOX.
