Michigan State football is heading to the Big Apple in the latest batch of CBS Sports bowl projections.
The Spartans dropped their first game of the year this weekend in a tough road loss at Boston College. But that loss hasn’t hurt Michigan State’s odds of reaching a bowl game in the eyes of CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm. He still has the Spartans included in his updated bowl projections.
Palm has Michigan State landing in the Pinstripe Bowl facing North Carolina. Last week, Palm had the Spartans slated for the Detroit Bowl.
Michigan State is 3-1 overall following the loss to Boston College this weekend The Spartans will now enter a tough stretch that includes at least four ranked foes across the next six games. Next up for Michigan State is a home game against No. 3 Ohio State on Saturday.
