Where did Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts play in college?

For college football fans, Jalen Hurts’ college career was an unforgettable one filled with tremendous highs and some notable lows.

First at Alabama, Hurts began his college career in 2016 as the Crimson Tide starter with a successful first season, ending in a national championship game loss to Clemson. The following year, he led Alabama back to the College Football Playoff but was benched midway through the 2017-18 national championship game against Georgia in favor of Tua Tagovailoa, who threw the title-winning pass to DeVonta Smith.

In the 2018-19 season, Hurts remained with Alabama but as Tagovailoa’s backup. But when Tagovailoa was injured in the SEC championship game against the Bulldogs, Hurts stepped up and helped lead his team to victory.

But after three seasons with the Crimson Tide, Hurts transferred to Oklahoma under then-coach Lincoln Riley. His 71.8 completion percentage and his speedy prowess on the ground earned him an invite to New York as a 2019 Heisman Trophy finalist.

The Eagles selected Hurts in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft as the No. 53 overall pick.
