Former Celtics center and 2008 titlist Kendrick Perkins recently weighed in on this question on an episode of ESPN’s “NBA Today.” He came up with four other duos also under pressure to produce next season: the Los Angeles Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland, the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns and the Philadelphia Sixers’ Joel Embiid and James Harden.
