When will the snow stop in Leeds? Met Office confirm exact time with hour-by-hour forecast

Hours of heavy snowfall and icy conditions are expected today and on Friday - leaving many people wondering when is it going to stop?

Residents in areas of Leeds woke up to a white sheet outside their homes this morning. Icy conditions and snow have since caused significant disruption with some school closures in place.

The Met Office issued amber weather warning from 3pm until 4am on Friday, and a yellow weather warning from 7am today until 4pm tomorrow. A number of public transport journeys have been delayed or cancelled, and hundreds of school pupils were told to stay at home as schools have been forced to close.
