Celtic will host Rangers on matchday six of the new season as the bitter rivals renew hostilities on September 3.
The Hoops had the upper hand in league clashes last season with two victories to one to help them win the Scottish Premiership.
The other match ended in a draw at Parkhead in the final derby clash of the campaign to put them within touching distance of the league flag.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be looking to build on that and their Scottish Cup semi-final win against Celtic at Hampden in April going into this season.
The Dutchman suffered a shock return to the world-famous fixture he experienced as a player when Gers slumped to a shocking 3-0 loss at Parkhead in February.
But he recovered, despite losing at Ibrox in the next league clash, with the performances in those final two meetings suggesting he had learned from the drubbing.
Ange Postecoglou also bounced back from his first derby experience as they went down 1-0 to a Covid-hit Rangers at Ibrox in just week four of last season.
The Aussie got to grips with the intensity and will be looking to show that again this season with the traditional Ne’erday clash taking place shortly after the resumption of the Scottish Premiership after the winter break on January 2.
