When Justin Bieber DITCHED grand Bollywood party and flew home after sold-out Mumbai concert

Can you believe it has already been 6 years since Justin Bieber last touched down in Mumbai city?

For his maiden visit to the country, the superstar rocked the stage at his sold-out 'Purpose' tour and Indian Beliebers the time of their lives. Prior to his arrival, the superstar was rumoured to have a packed itinerary that included a party with Bollywood stars and even a visit to Agra to see the Taj Mahal.

Back in 2017, reports claimed that Bieber would attend an extravagant party hosted by Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, featuring numerous Bollywood A-listers. The event was supposed to include meals fit for royalty and indulgent party scenes with Bollywood's elite. Bieber was also expected to roam around the city and make a grand helicopter entry for his 'Purpose' tour concert.

However, none of this seemed to have happened, as the singer seemed to have abandoned all plans and rushed out of the city, shirtless. After a quick 24 hrs in the city, the global pop sensation, left his legion of fans in India surprised when he decided to skip the elaborate itinerary and head home immediately after his sold-out Mumbai concert.

However, Bieber did warm hearts by choosing to meet a few underprivileged kids in Mumbai. The singer not only interacted with the children but also played football with them.

While fans in India were disappointed that he didn't stay on longer, the singer promised to 'return soon'.

On the personal front, Justin has been keeping away from the spotlight, spending quality time with his wife, Hailey Bieber, who is pregnant with the couple's first child. The singer made headlines last year when he opened up about his battle with Ramsay hunt syndrome. He disclosed that he had to postpone his global tour because of an infection that left his face partially paralysed.
