The Premier Sports cup takes to the stage this midweek as eight clubs battle it out to keep their dreams of lifting the first piece of major silverware up for grabs in Scotland alive.
The quarter-finals take place over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday with four clubs advancing to the semi-final and reaching Hampden with hopes of it being the first trip of two in this tournament. The last four showdown's take place in January after the World Cup Finals have been played in Qatar with the final a little later this campaign, taking place at the end of February.
However, before teams can even start dreaming of the national stadium they have an all-important tie to play this week and it all kicks-off on Tuesday night when Kilmarnock entertain Dundee United before Motherwell face Celtic, Rangers host Dundee at Ibrox and Partick Thistle make the trip north to face Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

The draw for the Premier Sports Cup semi-final takes place on Wednesday, 19 October.

It will be broadcast following the conclusion of Rangers' clash with Dundee at Ibrox. Kick-off for the match is 8.15pm.

When are the semi-final and final ties played?
The four teams who reach the last four will play at Hampden on the weekend of January 14/15.
The two winners will reach the final that will be contested at the national stadium on Sunday, February 26 2023.
