When is England's team news announcement ahead of Italy in the 2023 Guinness Six Nations?

England head into the second weekend of the 2023 Guinness Six Nations looking for their first win of the tournament with Italy coming to Twickenham on Sunday.

Steve Borthwick's reign as England head coach got off to an inauspicious start with a 29-23 home defeat to Scotland in the Calcutta Cup.

Meanwhile, Kieran Crowley’s Azzurri opened their campaign with a 29-24 defeat to defending champions France in Rome on Sunday in a performance full of promise.

When is the England squad being announced?

New England head coach Steve Borthwick will name his second match-day 23 on Friday afternoon.

The England squad will be released at 3pm on official channels and covered on Bristol Live.

When is the Italy squad being announced?

Kieran Crowley is expected to confirm his selection a little earlier in the day at a time yet to be decided – likely to be around midday on Friday.

What time is KO?

England face Italy at Twickenham on Sunday, February 12 with kick-off at 3pm.

What channel is the game being shown on?

The match is being broadcast live on ITV and ITVX with coverage starting at 2pm .
