Spring is soon to be sprung in the UK, as the bitter cold of winter loses its grip on the country, and the temperatures begin to heat up in Edinburgh to prepare for summer.
Daylight is soon returning to the country, with the clocks going forward on March 26 this year.
And while we might miss that extra hour getting cosy in the duvet, the days are expected to get a little brighter, and warmer.

A simple way to remember the way the clocks go is 'Spring Forward' and 'Fall Back'. So in Spring, the clocks go forward and in Autumn, or 'Fall', the clocks go back.

In the UK, spring begins on Monday, March 20. This comes just six days before the clocks are set to go back.
When does Spring end, and Summer begin in the UK?
Spring will end officially on June 21, 2023. This is when Summer will begin, and the good weather will return.
