The clocks are set to go back this weekend marking the end of British Summer Time. The change will see the mornings get lighter and the evenings get darker as autumn slowly moves into winter.
It also means the UK will get an hour extra hour in bed and will officially move into Greenwich Mean Time. The period when the clocks are one hour ahead is called British Summer Time and means there's more daylight in the evenings and less in the mornings.
For many of us our smartphones will usually automatically update making it easier to forget the time has changed, but it's still an important date to note and some clocks, such as those on the oven or in the car, might need switching manually.
