When are the Ireland 7s playing in the World Cup semi-final? Start time and stream info as Ireland look to make history

The Ireland Sevens are into a World Cup semi-final after sensationally knocking out hosts South Africa.

A shock 24-14 victory has propelled Ireland into the last four for the first time since 1993 when they finished third in the first running of the tournament.

Their reward is a clash with New Zealand who are the only side Ireland have yet to beat during the World Sevens Series.

The other semi-final will see Australia take on Fiji.

Here is all you need to know about the match:

When and where is it on?

The match is scheduled to take place at 11.35am (Irish time) on Sunday morning, September 11.

If Ireland win they will be into a World Cup final scheduled for 7.54pm (Irish time) on Sunday evening.

All of the matches in the tournament are taking place at the Cape Town Stadium.

How can I watch it?

The match will be streamed live on the RTE Player.
