A big change is on the way for WhatsApp users which will affect communicating with different groups of people. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced WhatsApp Communities will be rolling out to the service.
The Facebook founder said instant messaging has become "the centre of our digital lives". He said the feature will make it better for users to communicate with different groups of people.
He used school and work as examples of the communities and users would then be able to have smaller groups within them. This means a school community could also have one for each class.
