What you need to know about mega cruise ship with six waterslides

Royal Caribbean's new Icon class cruise ship, Legend of the Seas, is currently undergoing sea trials in Turku, Finland, ahead of its launch.
Over 2,000 engineers and specialists are conducting comprehensive technical tests on the ship, which will cover approximately 2,400 nautical miles.
Set to launch in July 2026, Legend of the Seas will be the third Icon class ship, with a capacity for 5,610 guests and weighing 250,800 gross tonnes.
It will be the first Icon class vessel to launch and sail from the Mediterranean, offering departures from Barcelona and Rome.
Exclusive features include the Broadway musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a Royal Railway-themed immersive dining experience, and new dining destinations, before heading to Fort Lauderdale for Caribbean itineraries.
