The Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report of Week 11 on Wednesday. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official playing status designations before Sunday’s showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Here’s everything to know from Week 11’s first injury report:
— First things first: the Packers didn’t practice in pads and held nothing more than a walk-through on Wednesday, so everything in terms of participation is an estimate.
— Linebacker Quay Walker practiced for the first time since injuring his groin. He was estimated as limited Wednesday. Walker has missed the last two games.
— Cornerback Jaire Alexander didn’t practice and looks well on his way to missing a second consecutive game because of a shoulder injury suffered vs. the Rams. Not having him against Keenan Allen and Justin Herbert would be a big blow. Matt LaFleur said he’s getting better but did not sound optimistic about this week’s availability.
— Elsewhere in the secondary, safety Rudy Ford — who missed one game and played through another because of a calf injury — now has a biceps injury. He missed Wednesday’s practice. The Packers probably won’t have a secondary that is anywhere near 100 percent for Sunday’s showdown with Herbert.
— Offensive linemen Jon Runyan Jr. and Yosh Nijman were both full participants. Center Josh Myers — who had a knee injury — was removed from the injury report.
— Left guard Elgton Jenkins and running back Aaron Jones remain on the injury report with previous injuries. Jenkins, a knee; Jones, a hamstring. The same goes for Kenny Clark, who played through a shoulder injury last week.
— Receiver Christian Watson now has a shoulder injury and was limited Wednesday. He had a back injury but played through it last week. Just the year, Watson has been out of been on the injury report with hamstring, knee, back and shoulder injuries.
— While Jaire Alexander was out Wednesday, so was Keenan Allen. He has a shoulder injury. Tight ends Gerald Everett and Donald Parham Jr. were also out, so while the Packers are hurting in the secondary, Justin Herbert isn’t guaranteed to have a full arsenal of weapons come Sunday.
