What to expect from Deshaun Watson in first live action since surgery

Kevin Stefanski held a press conference before practice on Tuesday afternoon to shed some light on the preseason playing time rumors surrounding quarterback Deshaun Watson.

While Stefanski did not confirm that Watson will see playing time in this Saturday’s final preseason game, it seems likely that we will see less of Watson vs. the Seahawks than we anticipated.

It’s no secret that fans, teammates, and coaches are eager to see Browns starting Watson get back onto the field. If Watson is to play against the Seattle Seahawks this Saturday, it will most likely be less than one-quarter of play.

There is a chance fans will be able to see their quarterback throw a few passes but he will most likely be the first starter off the field if he does play. Despite the eager pressure to see Watson in action, Stefanski and the Browns have remained firm on their quarterback’s rehab schedule.

This has been a meticulous offseason process for the franchise as they are dedicated to doing whatever they can to get their quarterback fully healthy for Week 1. Starting on the right foot is the ultimate goal for this team as the Browns continue to try and get Watson ready for the regular season.
