The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms today.
Storms are expected to hit parts of northern England and Scotland through this afternoon, with the warning in place between 1pm and 9pm on Sunday, June 25. It's warned there could be some disruption.
Leeds has seen brief storms over the last few weeks interrupting otherwise hot and sunny weather. While the storms rage today, Leeds is set to stay very hot - reaching 28C.

According to the Met Office, the storms will start in Leeds around 1pm. That will clear up for a bit to just light rain, before the storms come back around 4pm.
The evening is set to be milder though, with sunny intervals and light rain between 6pm and 8pm.
The Met office warns to expect:
- There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings and temporary outdoor structures from floodwater, lightning strikes, large hail or strong winds
- There is a small chance that some communities become temporarily cut off by flooded roads
- Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
- Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
