In the final year of the current four-team playoff format, the College Football Playoff selection committee has never had more difficult choices to make.
The results of conference championship games this weekend have left as many as seven teams – eight if you count undefeated Liberty – with legitimate arguments to be playoff eligible. Will ACC champ Florida State make it into the playoff despite the injury to Jordan Travis? Will no SEC school make the playoff for the first time in history?
Here’s when the four playoff teams will be announced on Sunday:
