The 21-year-old got the better of Daniil Medvedev in Friday’s semi-final and will now meet Djokovic on Centre Court. The seven-time men’s champion saw off Lorenzo Musetti in the final four, teeing up a rematch of last year’s final.
Alcaraz triumphed that day in an all-time classic at SW19, edging his opponent out 1-6, 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4.
