How can Ireland qualify?
Ireland currently sit second in Group F with nine of their 10 games played while Sweden's final game of the group is tonight against Italy.
Sweden currently sit in third and two points behind Ireland and a loss or draw will secure Ireland at least a second place finish.
A win for Italy will clinch the group for the Azzurri and Ireland will also be set for a second place finish.
Ireland's last game of the campaign is next week against Italy so if Italy draw or lose the top spot is all to play for.
But a Sweden victory will also lift them ahead of Ireland and leaving Jim Crawford's side needing a win against Italy on the final day.
Ireland can still qualify automatically if they finish second in the group depending on other games.
There are nine groups in European qualifiers and the best runner up currently qualifies automatically.
Ireland sit two points off Switzerland and have a game in hand and if they win against Italy the only other number two seed that can finish ahead of them are Ukraine and Denmark.
