Celtic travel to Edinburgh to face Hearts on Wednesday night after a number of players picked up injuries in their 2-1 Scottish Cup win over Alloa.
But Ange Postecoglou would not put a timescale on Celtic skipper Callum McGregor’s return to action following a serious facial injury.
The Scotland midfielder was substituted during the game with Alloa following an aerial clash with Adam King.
Boss Postecoglou, who confirmed midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi would be out more long-term than short-term after sustaining a “significant” ankle injury against the League One part-timers, would only focus on McGregor’s recovery and not the length of absence.
Attacker Liel Abada also limped off injured against Alloa but should be fit for the trip to the Scottish capital.

New Celtic signing Matt O’Riley: “I feel ready. I have played enough games this season so I think I am in a good place physically and I have had a few days training with the boys so I am feeling good.
“I am training well and preparing well and if I am called upon I will be ready.”
Hearts' Craig Halkett: “It’s a message the manager is trying to get across to us, that a team like Hearts should be pushing and always looking up the way rather then behind us.
“In the first five or six months of the season we have got ourselves in a really good position.
“To have the chance on Wednesday to beat Celtic and go six points behind them is a massive opportunity and one the boys really want to do.
“If you’re at Hearts and you don’t believe you should be up there challenging, you are not at the right place.
“I think this group of players believe we are all good enough to go and challenge and finish in the European places and try and get to cup finals.
“That is massive and the mentality has shown in results we have got so far in the league.”
