Scotland will have to score within 25 minutes in Saturday's Nations League game in North Macedonia to avoid setting their longest all-time run without scoring in their 154-year history.
The shot-shy Scots have now gone 422 minutes without a goal after Sebastien Pocognoli's team lost 3-0 at home to Switzerland this week.
Since John McGlinn's goal against Haiti in the World Cup in the 28th minute of the opening game in Boston, Scotland have failed to score against Morocco and Brazil at the tournament and then against Slovenia and the Swiss in the Nations League.

The only time Scotland went four games without scoring came 55 years ago when they failed to score in defeats to Belgium and Portugal in the European Championships and then in a goalless draw against Wales and a home defeat to Northern Ireland in the Home Internationals
Scotland went a total of 447 minutes without scoring between Derby County's John O'Hare scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win against Denmark in November 1970 until Wolves player Hugh Curran netted at Wembley in a 3-1 defeat in May 1971.
And they will surpass that unwanted record if they don't score inside the opening 25 minutes in Skopje.
