Love it or hate it, you can't deny that Apple has produced some classic tech over the past 50 years. And as we approach its major anniversary on April 1, it's time to finally end an age-old debate — what is the best Apple gadget ever?
It's a tough question, so we really need your help to decide. Vote in the poll below and we'll tally up all the answers to bring you the final, indisputable answer to that question in the form of a new definitive list that we'll publish next week.
Even creating our long-list below sparked a lot of debate at TechRadar, so it'll be fascinating to see which gadgets are the final victors. Apologies in advance if your favorite model of iPod, iMac or MacBook didn't make the cut — but we think all of Apple's most-lauded gadgets are in there.
The list covers everything from the original Macintosh in 1984 to the AirPods Pro in 2019, via the iMac, iPhone, MacBook and iPod. But if you're more of a recent convert, there's also more modern accessories like the AirTags and Apple TV.
The spark for all of this Apple nostalgia is the company's 50th anniversary, which is on April 1. We still don't know exactly how Apple will celebrate on the day, but there will be some uncharacteristic reminiscing.
"In the coming weeks, Apple and its global community will celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary, recognizing the creativity, innovation, and impact that people around the world have made possible with Apple technology," Apple CEO Tim Cook said on March 12.
