What Mohamed Salah did at 2am with two Liverpool team-mates after Benfica win
Mohamed Salah is well known for jumping in a pool in the early hours of the morning after playing for Liverpool in an evening kick-off but this time he was joined by Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson in Lisbon.
Liverpool got the job done in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Benfica on Tuesday night as they took a 3-1 lead back to Anfield after goals from Ibrahima Konate, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz. Darwin Nunez struck in the second half to give Benfica hope going into the second leg.
That takes place next Wednesday (April 13). But first up for Jurgen Klopp's side is a massive Premier League game on Sunday when they make the short trip to take on Premier League leaders Manchester City at the Etihad. A win for Liverpool will move them two points above their championship rivals.

A 3-1 win at Benfica in the quarter-final of the Champions League on Tuesday night saw the Reds take pole position ahead of the second leg next week where Klopp’s men will look to secure a third European Cup semi-final of his reign.

Sadio Mane interrupts Luis Diaz interview after Liverpool beat Benfica
Liverpool star Sadio Mane interrupted Luis Diaz's interview with the media after their 3-1 win in the Champions League against Benfica. The Reds take a crucial lead into the second leg of their quarter-final tie at Anfield next Wednesday.
Ibrahima Konate opened the scoring early in the first half before Diaz assisted teammate Mane for their second goal of the evening. However, there was brief spell the hosts looked like they could turn the match on its head after Darwin Nunez got a goal back after the break.
It was the Colombia international that later scored the crucial goal to put the game to bed and ensure the Reds take a much-needed two-goal cushion back to Merseyside.
