Joel Matip was up to his old tricks during Liverpool's victory over Inter Milan on Wednesday evening.
The Liverpool defender played no part in the Reds' away win in the San Siro, but made sure to offer his encouragement from the sidelines.
A virtual ever-present within the first-team this season, Matip was rested on this occasion as trust was placed in Ibrahima Konate.
But the 30-year-old did not allow this decision to dampen his mood, as shown by his antics during proceedings in Milan.

PLAYER RATINGS: Virgil van Dijk excellent and Luis Diaz exciting at Inter Milan
As members of the squad celebrated Roberto Firmino's opener, footage has emerged of Matip tapping the heads of the Brazilian, Henderson and Luis Diaz.
Unimpressed by the actions of the former Schalke defender, the Reds' captain can be seen turning around and staring at Matip after realising what he had done.
The towering central defender has developed somewhat of a reputation for funny moments on the pitch, from going forwards on 'adventures' in attack or furiously reacting to a referee decision.
Matip continues to be involved in incidents that make him an internet sensation, though he is fully aware of this recurring trend.
And he appeared to be pleased with himself tonight, despite Henderson's glare:
Speaking to liverpoolfc.com in 2019 about his growing online popularity, he said: "I can laugh about myself, that's absolutely no problem.
"I'm looking at this and I say, 'Ah, that's quite funny'.
"If somebody else would do it, I would also laugh. I would have no problem to laugh about me.
"I can laugh about some things when other people do something, but I can also laugh about myself."
