Netflix has teased the release of its new One Piece series with a poster, but what is it?
One Piece started out as a manga (a Japanese comic or graphic novel) written by Eiichiro Oda, and was adapted into an anime that ran for more than 20 seasons. Now, fans of the manga and anime can see their favourite characters come to life in Netflix's live action adaptation.
The series follows Monkey D. Luffy, or Straw Hat Luffy on his quest to find the One Piece, a mythical treasure that will make him King of the pirates. In the manga, Luffy eats a Devil Fruit which gives him superhuman abilities, such as immunity to electrical damage.
