What happened to Paula Yates' kids? Peaches tragedy, Pixie baby and Tiger's quiet life

The death of Paula Yates sent shockwaves around the world.

The Big Breakfast star, who was married to INXS singer Michael Hutchence, lost her life after a heroin overdose, aged 41.

Tragically, the mum-of-four was found dead on September 17 2000 - her daughter Pixie's 10th birthday.

Pixie, 32, Peaches and Fifi, 39, are from Paula's relationship with Bob Geldof while their sister Tiger Lily's father is Australian singer Michael.

Paula was once the toast of the showbiz scene, interviewing guests on the Big Breakfast bed with an infectious energy.

But she sadly her lost way, leaving behind four kids who would go on to have very different fortunes.

Peaches tragedy

Born into fame as the second child of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, Peaches Geldof's life was anything but ordinary.

In 25 years she got married, had two children and transformed her raucous party girl persona into the life of a devoted mum and journalist.

However, tragedy struck in 2014 when Peaches was tragically found dead after a heroin overdose.

In the hours leading up to her death, the former socialite posted a picture of herself and Paula on Instagram with the caption: "Me and mum".

Following an inquest into Peaches' death, Gravesend coroner Roger Hatch ruled it was drugs-related, but unintentional.

He said at the time: “It’s said that the death of Peaches Geldof-Cohen is history repeating itself but this not entirely so," he said.

"By November last year she had ceased to take heroin as a result of the considerable treatment and counselling that she had received.

“By November 2013 she (Peaches) had ceased to take heroin after considerable efforts of treatment and counselling. For some reason we shall never know prior to her death she again resorted to using heroin with fatal consequences.”

Pixie baby

Pixie gave birth to her first child, a girl, with husband George Barnett in 2021.

The model announced her happy news by posting a picture of the silhouette of her baby bump on Instagram.

Pixie and These New Puritans drummer George tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony in Majorca in 2017 surrounded by family and famous friends, including Alexa Chung and Harry Styles.

The couple are also good friends with Princess Eugenie and were at the royal's wedding to industry executive Jack Brooksbank in 2018.

Tiger Lily shunning spotlight

Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence was just 16 months old when her father, Michael, took his own life at the age of 37 in a Sydney hotel room.

Less than three years later, the little girl also sadly lost her mum.

Following the tragic loss of her parents, Tiger, now 26, was raised by Boomtown Rats star Bob Geldolf alongside her sisters Fifi, Peaches and Pixie.

These days Tiger is establishing herself as a musician and has reportedly moved from London to Fremantle in Western Australia, where she lives a normal life away from the spotlight.

She was also said to have got engaged to her musician partner Nicholas Allbrook, the frontman of psychedelic Australian rock band Pond in 2021.

Fifi - The 'Unknown Geldof'

Fifi has referred to herself as the “unknown Geldof”, preferring to stay out of the limelight.

In 2014, just months after the death of her sister Peaches, Paula's eldest child gave her first ever interview to share her story with depression with the Daily Mail.

She recalled how she was diagnosed with clinical depression by a therapist at age 11, during her parents' bitter breakup and subsequent divorce.

"I woke up crying about everything and nothing. I remember thinking what the f**k is going on in my head. Why do I feel like this," she said.

However, Fifi is now a successful make-up artist and married to sculpter husband Andrew Robertson.

In 2021 she shared a snap of herself with a shock of pink hair - in which looks just like her beloved mum, Paula.
