Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard returned to his home country of Norway and was greeted with a gift as he passed reporters in the tunnel.
Odegaard is enjoying a brilliant season for the Gunners after being selected as the club's new captain following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette leaving the Emirates Stadium before the 2022/23 campaign. The Norway international captains his country as well and is certainly a huge favourite in his homeland.
Bukayo Saka scored the only goal of the game on a cold Thursday night against Bodo/Glimt with Arsenal taking a huge step towards qualifying for the knockout rounds after winning all of their three Group A fixtures so far. It wasn't the most convincing performances from the Gunners but they showed grit and determination to hold onto their lead and keep a clean sheet in a tricky away game.

After claiming all three points upon his return to Norway, Odegaard was welcomed by reporters as he made his way through the mixed zone towards the Arsenal team bus. The 23-year-old cut a cold figure wrapped in a giant Gunners coat but still had time to speak to the media following the 1-0 win.
One reporter offered a gift to Odegaard in the form of song, something that seemed to take the Arsenal captain off guard. The journalist is said to have told the Norway international he had prepared a song for the Gunners star, but Odegaard seemed confused by the gesture.
The 23-year-old looked to continue walking before the reporter burst into song, leaving Odegaard standing there before he was said to respond: "Thank you, that was beautiful, great work."
Whilst it may seem like a strange gift for a player to receive, it shows just how much his homeland adore the Norwegian captain as he continues to lead his club on a Premier League title and Europa League trophy challenging season.
