Arsenal fans have been desperate to see Fabio Vieira makes his debut in an Arsenal shirt. And recent training videos that have surfaced will only increase the excitement in north London.
The Gunners released a training clip where the new signing is seen linking up excellently with Eddie Nketiah. A nice one-two between the pair sees Vieira comfortably strike the ball into the net via Arsenal's YouTube channel.
There is an uncertainty about where Vieira could fit into the team whether it is on the wing or in the middle of the park. However, his ability to link up with the forwards as seen in the clip highlights a new tactical idea for Mikel Arteta.

The north London outfit have spent over £110 million to bring in Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos and Matt Turner. Vieira is the only new signee yet to make an appearance in an Arsenal shirt after joining the club with an injury.
Mikel Arteta was asked ahead of the match with Leicester City where he felt the player’s best position was. The Arsenal manager, however, was keeping his mind open.
“I think that’s something that the player is going to tell us,” Arteta told football.london . “We have tried him in training in different positions.
“He has played off the left, off the right, he has played as a false nine, attacking midfielder. He doesn’t want to be locked into one position as well because he’s so used to it. That’s a really positive thing for us.”
Many have speculated about the player’s best role, yet it remains unknown where Mikel Arteta sees him. Edu provided some insight into where he sees him when he arrived.
“Fabio is the one which probably we don’t any have anyone in the squad with his characteristics,” Edu said. “Maybe Martin Odegaard has his qualities, [Emile] Smith Rowe probably has the same quality, but he has something very special because he likes to play very close to the final third. He likes to play in the pocket.
“He feels comfortable in that position because, as I said before to Mikel, it’s very difficult to find a player like him because of the way he plays and the way he feels comfortable on the field. So, it is a very difficult, very challenging position. So, I think we will enjoy a lot to seeing Fabio play for us.”
Vieira made his first appearance on Arsenal’s substitute bench in the Gunners’ last Premier League victory against Bournemouth but was surplus to requirements in that match as he was not introduced from the sidelines. Arsenal fans will be hoping to see him make his first appearance soon especially after looking sharp in the latest training videos.
