What does the Chicago Bulls’ decision to stand pat at the trade deadline tell us about their plans?

There are few voices more trusted in Chicago Bulls analysis than SB Nation’s Ricky O’Donnell. So amid a sea of confused fans looking for answers as to what it is that the Bulls’ front office is doing by standing pat at the NBA’s 2024 trade deadline, a sitdown with the Chicago beat writer is exactly what the doctor ordered.

O’Donnell recently linked up with WGN News to talk us through what Chicago might be planning this offseason based on what they did not do at the deadline, as well as a status quo on where the team stands now that they have elected to run it back. It very well could be a mistake, and all evidence so far points to that being the case, but is there any logic we can use to make sense of more of the same for the Bulls?

Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what O’Donnell had to say.
