Now that the dust on the 2022 NBA trade deadline has settled a bit, we are getting our first looks at how the new additions each team picked up look playing for their new clubs, and for the Boston Celtics, the results have been very positive with two more wins baked as the team extended their current winning streak to eight games, the longest such streak in the league.
There has been some reaction from front offices around the NBA to the trades made at the deadline as well, with Heavy.com’s Steve Bulpett checking in with a number of employees of opposing teams to see what they thought of the moves made by the Celtics, particularly the Derrick White trade.
“Marcus Smart’s been playing really well, but everybody says the Jays need a point guard, and I think they just got a very unselfish, hard-playing guy that will move the ball and play great defense,” shared one such anonymous general manager.
