Chelsea have "confirmed" a deal for RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku in 2023, according to reports from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The Frenchman is said to have signed his contract with the Blues, sealing the deal that should consider him as a "new Chelsea player".
Nkunku won't be joining in January though, despite some claims that he could after a season-ending injury to young striker Armando Broja earlier this month. Instead, the striker will join in the summer as planned, though the club are yet to release an official statement on the arrival.
It seems it'll only be a matter of time though, with hopes that the 25-year-old can replicate his form during his time in the Bundesliga. Just this season the forward has 14 goal involvements in 15 league appearances as well as three goals in six during the Champions League group stages.
