Kerry make the long journey to the Ards peninsula to take on Down in a top of the table clash in Division 2A.
The winners will take their place in the League final with the losers set to face the third-placed team in the semi-final - mostly likely Westmeath.
A draw would be enough for the Kingdom to remain at the head of the table as they’ve a superior scoring difference to Down at this stage of the competition.
The Munster outfit are now under the guidance of former Waterford hurler Stephen Molumphy, who succeeded Fintan O’Connor to the role at the end of last season.
Kerry’s sole defeat in the League came with a six-point loss to Westmeath in Mullingar while Down lost out to Kildare in Ballycran last month.
However, Ronan Sheehan’s men responded to that set-back with a stunning 1-18 to 1-16 win over Westmeath in Cusack Park earlier this month to leave their fate in their own hands heading into the final weekend.
Down lost both League and Championship games to Kerry last season with the Kingdom going on to lose out to Westmeath in the Joe McDonagh Cup final.
