Donegal and Tyrone are familiar foes at this stage and there is plenty more than pride at stake on Saturday night as the Ulster rivals meet in Ballybofey.
Both sides have three points from their opening three games with a win, a draw and a defeat.
A second victory for either side would move them a step closer to Division One survival and still the the door open for a possible tilt at the Division One title depending on results elsewhere.
Donegal and Tyrone experienced contrasting fortunes last weekend with the Reds Hands holding out for a narrow win over Kildare at Healy Park.
Conn Kilpatrick and Darren McCurry bagged second half goals for the hosts as they saw off the Lilywhites 2-7 to 0-12.
Declan Bonner’s men, however, lost to Kerry in Fitzgerald Stadium 1-13 to 0-7 with David Clifford scoring the game’s only goal.
Donegal will still be without Michael Murphy (hamstring) for Saturday’s contest with Michael Langan sidelined with the same injury while Tyrone will welcome back Padraig Hampsey, Kieran McGeary, Michael McKernan and Peter Harte after the quartet missed the Kildare win through suspension.
However, Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher will be without the services of Mattie Donnelly and Ronan McNamee for the round four clash.
