The 2022 season officially came to an end Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.
Now, the Indianapolis Colts, along with the rest of the NFL are working with a clean slate as they prepare for the 2023 campaign. Coming off a 4-12-1 season and with several questions facing the roster, the Colts don’t find themselves as a favorable team in the eyes of Vegas.
According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Colts will open the offseason with the third-worst odds to win Super Bowl LVIII at +9000. Only the Arizona Cardinals (+10000) and Houston Texans (+10000) have worse odds.
On top of that, the Colts have the second worst odds to win the AFC Championship at +5000, which comes in just higher than the Texans at +8000.
At this point in the offseason, the Super Bowl odds are moot. So many changes are set to come across the league that some teams won’t look recognizable by the time September rolls around.
But it does give us a slight idea of how Vegas views the Colts going into the eventful months of the offseason.
With Shane Steichen expected to be the next head coach, plenty of moves will be on the way for a Colts team that is desperate to put the 2022 season behind them.
