Wexford clash with Clare this weekend as the two lock horns in the second of a quarter-final double-header in Thurles.
Following the meeting of Galway and Cork, the Banner will take on a Wexford side fresh from a comprehensive win over Kerry in last weekend's preliminary quarter-final.
Wexford wormed their way back into contention in this year's Championship following a disappointing early run which saw them draw against Galway before losing to Dublin, beating Laois and again drawing - this time rather unexpectedly - with Westmeath.
That all led to a do-or-die clash with Kilkenny in Nowlan Park to save their season, and a first Championship victory against the Cats at Nowlan Park redirected Darragh Egan's side as the All-Ireland series beckoned.
They swatted Kerry away with a convincing 21 point victory, and now they face a well-fancied Clare side.
Clare, meanwhile, have produced some inspirational performances without the right results so far this year; most notably against Limerick in a Munster final for the ages which the Treaty edged on a scoreline of 1-29 to 0-29 after extra time.
It is sure to be a rasping affair in Thurles.

Team news
Wexford manager Darragh Egan confirmed forward Cathal Dunbar will not be available for this weekend's clash with Clare after he suffered a hamstring injury in last weekend's preliminary quarter-final win over Kerry.
He said: "He [Dunbar] will have scans this week when we will know the real significance. He’s definitely out of Saturday’s game. We will know the timeframe involved for recovery following the scan."
However, Wexford will be boosted by the return of Diarmuid O'Keeffe; O'Keeffe was withdrawn before the Kerry game and replaced by Dunbar.
Clare have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game.
