West Lothian police are searching for two schoolgirls missing since Monday

Police officers are searching for two teenage girls who have not been seen since Monday.

Kenzi Jade Law (14) and Kodie Marie Yates (15) are believed to be together and were last seen in Bathgate at 1pm on Monday.

Kenzi lives in Livingston and is described as five feet tall, of stocky build with long bleached blonde / auburn hair.

Kenzi speaks with a strong Northumberland accent.

When last seen she was wearing a blue jumper, grey leggings and white Nike Air Max 95’s.

Kodie lives in the area of Falkland Fife and is described as five foot three inches, slim build with long brown hair normally styled in a ponytail.

Kodie speaks with a strong Merseyside accent.

When last seen she was wearing a blue jumper, grey joggers and black sliders.

Police say there is increasing concern for their welfare.

Constable Michael Fairbanks, based at Bathgate, said: "We're appealing to anyone who has seen Kenzi or has information about where she might go to contact us. It is understood Kenzi has links to the Merseyside and Northumberland area in England. "

He continued: "We're appealing to anyone who has seen Kodie or has information about where she might go to contact us. It is understood Kodie has links to the Merseyside area in England. "

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1518 of 28/02/2022.
