A West Lothian pensioner has been rushed to hospital following a crash on Friday morning.
The incident took place on Whitburn Road, Bathgate, around 8:45am and involved only the man's car, reports the West Lothian Courier.
He was subsequently taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where his condition is currently unknown. The Lothian Bus service 276 was temporarily diverted while the road was closed.

The police spokesperson continued: "Around 8.45am on Friday, 7 October, 2022, officers were made aware of a single car crash on Whitburn Road, Bathgate.
"A 76-year-old man has been taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh."
