A West Lothian mum and daughter who appeared in Channel 4's Four in a Bed have confirmed the reason for their dramatic departure.
Carina, 22, and her 43 year-old mum Denise appeared on the hit TV show this week, but viewers were left concerned when they suddenly departed.
Now the paid have taken to social media to confirm the reason for their shock exit.

The Facebook post read: "You will all have seen Denise and Carina unable to continue with the Four in a bed show.
"Unfortunately Denise suffers from an autoimmune condition and filming was done over many many hours which exacerbated Denise's condition. It would have been painful and very difficult for Denise to continue.
"Therefore following Doctor's advice left no option but to exit the show and rest. We hope you all understand and continue to support us."
Supporters of the local family quickly offered kind wishes and regards after reading the shocking news.
Lesley MacArthur said: "That is such a shame, enjoying watching it from North of the Border for a change. Well done for taking part anyway and hope you are well."
Jean Pearson exclaimed: "So sorry to here the Star and Garter, couldn’t continue due to illness, get well soon Denise."

While Julie Stanners Pattison added: "Aw that was a shame, hope Denise is much improved. You must have been gutted to cut short your time on the programme."
The pair hosted guests from all over Scotland to their Linlithgow hotel on Monday night, wowing their guests and viewers at home with their down to earth hospitality, tasty breakfast and fascinating day trip to St Micheal's.
Tonight's episode is the final night of the competition and sees the guests visit 18 Craigmillar Park in Edinburgh, located near Cameron Toll. The plush B&B run by ex-army man Craig.
The description for this episode gives a few hints to drama ahead reading: "The rival hoteliers' final visit of the week is to Edinburgh bed-and-breakfast establishment 18 Craigmillar Park, run by Craig Bonnar.
"From the outset, the guests are impressed by ex-paratrooper Craig's in-room military precision. During the in-house whisky tasting experience, Craig reveals his passion for a drama.
"At breakfast, the hot stuff goes down handsomely, but the plastic packaged continental causes concern."
