"It feels amazing to join West Ham United,” Thestrup told whufc.com. “I'm really excited to be here, meet the girls and the staff and to get started here in London.

"It's a great opportunity for me to play with and compete against some of the best players on the planet, so I'm super excited to have the opportunity and I can't wait to get started."
She played for her national team Denmark from 2011 when she was part of the U-11 squad. Since 2019, she's made four appearances for the senior team.
West Ham booked their spot in the fifth round of the Women's FA Cup with a win over Wolves on Sunday and now prepare to host title challengers Arsenal in the WSL this weekend.
