Paul MacInnes was at the London Stadium tonight. Here’s his verdict. Thanks for reading this MBM.
Nuno Espírito Santo speaks to TNT Sports. “We competed really well … we played a good game against a good team … we started really well in the second half … we defended properly until the last moment … a tough team to stop … the boys did really well … we are disappointed … today we showed we are here to fight … believe … work hard … a tough moment to take … but let’s keep it going … we showed today this is the way we should compete every match … we have been trying to fix our problems … keep a clean sheet … that’s what we need for our future … of course we can do more … we should have killed the game … but it was not to be and we have to keep on going.”
