Declan Rice is back in training for West Ham ahead of the Hammers' last-16 Europa League clash with Sevilla.
Rice sat out West Ham's trip to Anfield on Saturday after contracting a virus but the midfielder was spotted in training on Wednesday morning ahead of the Hammers flight to Spain.
football.london understand that Rice has made the trip with his teammates to Spain with a view to a first team return.
However, Jarrod Bowen is not fit for the clash and will not be traveling to Sevilla after picking up an injury against Liverpool.
Bowen picked up a knock after a collision with Andy Robertson and a recovery sprint the length of the pitch at Anfield. The England hopeful then went down holding his ankle and had to be helped off the pitch.
A scan on Monday revealed that the issue is not a serious one however, Bowen is set to miss out against Sevilla and potentially Aston Villa on Sunday as well.
The absence of Bowen will be a huge blow to David Moyes who has pushed the attacker's England claims this season. Moyes is set for a straight choice between Nikola Vlasic and Said Benrahma as Bowen's replacement in the side.
With Rice expected to start Manuel Lanzini can return to his preferred No.10 role with Pablo Fornals likely to line up on the left. Vlasic got the nod at Anfield but Benrahma looked lively off the bench when introduced against Liverpool.
Moyes is likely to stick with Vlasic with the Croatian offering more tactical discipline and defensive work rate than the Algerian attacker.
Vladimir Coufal is still out for the Hammers after a hernia operation meaning Ben Johnson is expected to make his third consecutive start. Ryan Fredericks has returned from his own injury issues but is most likely going to be on the bench as backup to Johnson and Aaron Cresswell.
