Ever wished you could take a celebrity to the pub and ask them about their high-profile relationship problems and get real, honest answers in response? Well, luckily for you, Lily Allen exists.
This is the unflinching, candid reality of West End Girl, Allen’s first album in seven years and the first time she’s done anything remotely musical in public since a few recent appearances on stage with Olivia Rodrigo (once on her 2024 tour, once to sing Fuck You at Glastonbury 2022, directed at the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, which happened the day before). And, perhaps most notably, it’s also Allen’s first musical project since her dramatic divorce from Stranger Things actor David Harbour, which first came to light in 2024.
