There was disappointment, unhappiness and no little anger when the Central Region FA announced that all Fun 4 matches in the Falkirk area had been cancelled last month due to a violent incident on the opening weekend of the new season.

Parents of the 750 kids who were due to take part were certainly shocked when they learned that a coach had headbutted another man on the sidelines during a small-sided match involving boys and girls who were just six and seven.
