A man who was kept as a slave and lived in a disgusting six foot shed has finally been set free after four decades.
The vulnerable man was exploited as worker at a caravan park where he was kept in a filthy garden shed by a Peter Swailes and his father also called Peter Swailes.
The pair were charged with modern slavery offences, however the father who was 80-years-old died last year shortly before standing trial.
Both men had denied the charges including conspiring to arrange or facilitate the travel of an individual between 2015 and 2019 with a view to him being exploited.
