A wedding guest was filmed helping herself to a slice of cake before the bride and groom had cut it.
The clip was uploaded to TikTok where it has since been viewed 6.3 million times. People have been in utter disbelief at the woman's lack of wedding etiquette.
TikTok user Hailey was at her friend's wedding when she made the "mortifying" mistake and cut into the top tier of the cake, thinking that the newlyweds had simply forgotten to serve it. She even licked her fingers and had a little boogey while helping herself.

The text on the video read: "Me! A guest at my friend's wedding!
"Ignoring the brownie table and confidently cutting myself a slice of HER WEDDING CAKE thinking uh-oh! They forgot to serve it to everyone else." She added: "I know better now. I hate myself."
Hailey also captioned the post: "My apologies to the bride & groom." Luckily for her, all was forgiven.
The bride, Marie, commented as she said: "As the bride whose cake this is - SHE IS FORMALLY FORGIVEN AND HAS LEARNED HER LESSON IN WEDDING ETIQUETTE."
However, fans were still massively unimpressed. One user wrote: "You have no idea how angry this is making me." Another user said: "Omg so I see that the bride commented forgiving you but I still need to go through my own emotional process with this one."
Cecile said: "This made me angry and it's not my wedding." Rachel said: "Noooo pls because I would never talk to you again."
