New Delhi: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are likely to continue over the plains of Northwest India during the next 5 days, reports Dynamite News Correspondent.
Moreover, heat wave conditions are expected over East and Central India during the next 3 days.
The weather office has issued a warning for extreme heatwave conditions in north India, including Delhi and its neighbouring areas of Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad up to May 22.
"Heatwave to severe heatwave conditions very likely in many pockets of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Rajasthan, and few pockets of East Rajasthan," IMD stated in a tweet on X.
