We simulated West Ham vs Man City to get a score prediction

Manchester City face a trip to the capital on Sunday afternoon, as they face West Ham United in their penultimate Premier League fixture.

Currently sitting three points clear of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League, the league title is in City 's hands, with recent results seeing City's goal difference overtake the Reds by a considerable margin. An emphatic 5-1 win over Wolves in their last outing added another plus four to their goal difference, with Kevin De Bruyne scoring four.

The last four Premier League games has seen City find their best form at the perfect time, with Pep Guardiola 's side netting 22 goals. But, City suffered another injury blow against Wolves, with Aymeric Laporte having to leave the pitch with a niggle.

The injury to Laporte now means City are without Ruben Dias, Kyle Walker, Fernandinho and the Spaniard for the clash with West Ham United, leaving City with no senior centre backs. So, what line-ups will both teams select and what could the final score be?

We used FIFA 22 to get a score prediction for Man City against West Ham on Sunday and this is what happened. We used kick-off mode in FIFA 22, but didn't select a team to control, we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a score prediction.

As expected, Man City started the game in control of both possession and chance creation, with Guardiola's side dominating the Hammers. City took the lead just four minutes in through Riyad Mahrez.

The winger picked up the ball on the right and skipped past his marker, sliding the ball onto his right foot. The winger set himself up for a shot at an extremely tight angle, but Mahrez fantastically found the top corner as he blasted past Lukas Fabianksi at his near post.

The pressure continued from Man City, with both Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva coming close, but Fabianski made some good saves to deny the duo. City were relentless, and they extended their lead just 13 minutes in as Silva got on the scoresheet.

Jesus, being deployed down the middle, picked up possession on the edge of the box and slid a pass into the path of Silva, who burst forward from midfield. The Portuguese midfielder took the ball in his stride to set himself up one-on-one with the 'keeper, and Silva lifted the ball over Fabianski and into the net.

Silva had another two great chances to extend City's lead before half-time, though the 27-year-old couldn't find the net, missing the target on both occasions. As the second half went on, City started to hold possession and tire out the West Ham side, and they came close to a third through De Bruyne with just under 20 minutes to go.

City charged forward in numbers, with Mahrez holding the ball on the left waiting for options. The Algerian squared the ball to De Bruyne in the box, but the Belgian's driven shot was placed just inches wide of the post, going behind for a goal kick.
